Open water kayaking, one of my favorite San Clemente Activities, has been gaining in popularity among beach goers. With San Clemente’s calm seas and vibrate wild life, it can be quite an experience.
While out on our kayak, my husband and I have spotted dolphin, seal, and schools of sardines.
More of a land lover, than a fish? How about a game of Beach Volleyball? San Clemente is home to such names in volleyball as Karch Kiraly and Brent Doble who train at the local courts regularly.
Watch the pros or start your own game with your friends, there are enough courts for everyone. Some groups meet regularly like the girls group at Lost Winds every Thursday at 9:00am.
Not a sand lover either? No problem, a round of Golf will do you good. San Clemente has four courses; Talega, Pacific, Shorecliffs, and San Clemente Municipal Golf Course. To See

that payoff with spectacular views. Take a small one mile loop or a 6 mile trek. There are also many unmarked trails that wind up into the San Clemente Hills that locals have been using for years.
The California Bike Route goes directly through the scenic parts of the city. Rent a bike or bring your own.
A competitive rider? Well then throw on your jersey and ride with the San Clemente Cycling Club.
Just a novice? Riding with kids? The whole family can participate in San Clemente Activities at the Forrester Ranch Green Belt for a 2.4 mile round trip ride on flat, wide, paved trail among trees and fields of grass.
Love to fish? Try the fishing pier equipped with cutting boards and sinks. Fishermen catch halibut daily, mmmmm!
